New York, NY – July 2025 — Mentality Matters is proud to announce that it has been named the “Most Pioneering Men's Mental Wellbeing Support Non-Profit Organization” in the 2025 Non-Profit Organisation Awards, hosted by Acquisition International Magazine. The award underscores the organization’s global leadership and unwavering commitment to redefining men’s mental fitness through brotherhood, purpose, and resilience. This early recognition, awarded within the organization’s first year, is a significant and humbling milestone that highlights the growing relevance of its mission.
Now in its fifth year, the Non-Profit Organisation Awards honors organizations making a transformative impact across communities worldwide. Winners are selected solely on merit, recognizing excellence, innovation, and measurable impact.
“This award is a reflection of the strength of our mission and of the men we serve,” said Mentality Matters founder Richard Sharratt. “We’re deeply honored to be recognized as pioneers in men’s mental wellbeing. It reinforces what we’ve always believed: that mental fitness is a necessity, especially for those who serve. More importantly, it fuels our continued commitment to lead, innovate, and create lasting impact for the men who need it most.”
To accelerate that impact, Mentality Matters has assembled a Board of Directors composed of leaders with diverse and highly relevant backgrounds. These include military service, law enforcement, and nonprofit innovation. Each member brings strategic insight, lived experience, and a shared passion for the organization’s mission.
Mentality Matters helps men become the best versions of themselves—grounded in purpose, strengthened by connection, and supported by community. With a special focus on veterans and first responders, the organization provides tools, brotherhood, and support to combat isolation, redefine strength, and eliminate male suicide.
From community workshops to nationwide campaigns and digital peer networks, Mentality Matters is forging a path forward that equips men with the mindset, clarity, and resilience to lead lives of meaning and connection.
“Together, we fight for mental fitness, brotherhood, and a future free from suicide.”
The award comes at a time of growing urgency around men’s mental fitness, with global studies continuing to highlight alarming rates of isolation, depression, and suicide among men, particularly those in high-stress, high-service roles. Mentality Matters stands as a beacon of hope and action, with a model that is quickly becoming the standard for effective, heart-forward support for men.
