Susan is an award-winning cybersecurity executive, U.S. Navy veteran, and passionate advocate for mental wellness in leadership. With over 22 years of experience in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and executive leadership, she brings deep industry expertise and a human-centered approach to the board of Mentality Matters.

As Vice Chairman, Susan is dedicated to driving open conversations around mental health—particularly in high-pressure, high-responsibility environments where resilience is critical and vulnerability is often avoided. She believes that mental well-being is not a sign of weakness but a foundation for authentic leadership and long-term success.

Susan has been recognized as a two-time OnCon Top Information Security Executive Award winner and was recently featured in the 2025–2026 edition of Who’s Who in Professional Women. She is also an active speaker and panelist in the cybersecurity community, sharing her insights on leadership, burnout, security strategy, and career growth.

Beyond her professional life, Susan is a proud mother of two daughters, a devoted Girl Scout leader and volunteer, and a champion for empowering the next generation of women in both cybersecurity and life. She brings heart, discipline, and purpose to everything she does—at work, at home, and in service to others.
